I travel to new places with my silk painting workshops not knowing exactly what to expect — what the space will be like, who the participants will be, or how it will all unfold.

My latest class last Tuesday at the Townsend Public Library was absolutely wonderful. Yes, we painted flowers again — but truly, what could be better, richer, or more delicious in every sense than flowers?

Flowers are such magical beings, and in every class, each of you has the chance to create your own unique bloom — whether inspired by the samples I bring or by your own imagination and desires.

In just two and a half hours, we grew such beautiful flowers together — time simply flew by. And I was deeply happy to see you happy.
