My mom once made six of these embroideries. And my friend turned them into two decorative pillows and four framed pictures of different formats. My mom’s choice, my mom’s view of the relationship she wishes for me, her daughter, memories of her youth. Looking at this festive couple, I imagined the movie “Thaw”, which, as I saw it, conveyed the spirit of that era, the time of our parents’ youth, their worldview. So in my head I can’t stop hearing “I was in love with you my friend, and now what”…. It’s been a couple weeks now))).
Everything passes, an era has passed, the Thaw is over. And love will come again and again.
And that’s why we invite those who love in the present to give gifts ( with meaning!)) to their loved ones.
