One of the best compliments I’ve ever received about my silk painting workshops didn’t come directly from participants but from library staff. Imagine this: you walk into the library, arms full of supplies, ready to set up for your next class. And the first thing they say is, “Oh, did you know your class fills up in under 10 minutes every time? We always have a long waiting list, and people keep asking if you’re coming back!”
Hearing that instantly fills me with excitement and gratitude before the class even begins. It’s an incredible energy boost to know that people are eager to join and value what we create together.
Even more heartwarming is meeting participants who keep coming back. They share how they felt during their first workshop, how their experience has evolved, and the emotions they go through during the creative process. For me, as an art facilitator, moments like these are pure joy and remind me why I love what I do.
