Some summers stay with us long after we leave them.

These two new little silk paintings are my way of holding on to that feeling just a little longer.

The lemon always takes me back to Italy—warm sunshine, quiet mornings, and the scent of citrus in the air.
The hydrangea reminds me of Cape Cod, where summer meets the ocean and everything seems to slow down.

In just a few days I’ll be leaving for San Francisco, and my silk workshops will be taking a little August vacation too. Sometimes we all need time to gather new colors, new memories, and fresh inspiration.
