Journey Through the Senses — We’re Doing It Again!
After the wonderful experience we had in May, we’re excited to invite you to the second Journey Through the Senses Retreat on Sunday, October 4, in Acton, MA.
When Diana Borenstein and I created our first retreat, we hoped it would be a meaningful and enjoyable day. But even we didn’t expect just how special it would become. The response from our participants was incredible, and seeing how much people enjoyed the experience inspired us to do it again.
Journey Through the Senses is a full-day immersive retreat designed to help you slow down, step away from your everyday routine, reconnect with yourself, and experience the present moment through all five senses.
Throughout the day, we will combine movement, partner yoga, breathing practices, meditation, creative exploration, and painting mandalas on silk. We’ll work with color, texture, sound, scent, taste, movement, and mindful observation.
This is not about being “good” at yoga or art. No previous experience is needed. It is about the experience itself — giving yourself the space to relax, explore, create, move, feel, and simply be present.
If you’ve been feeling that life is moving too fast, if you need a day to recharge, or if you simply want to try something completely different, we would love to have you join us.
Sunday, October 4, 2026
11:00 AM – approximately 6:00 PM
Acton, Massachusetts
$220 per person
Limited to 12 participants
The retreat will be held entirely in English.
A potluck lunch is part of our sensory experience, so everyone is invited to bring something delicious and easy to share.
The retreat is led by Diana Borenstein, PhD — artist, certified Kundalini Yoga and Partner Yoga instructor, transformational coach and author — and Lidia Mikhaylova — artist, art facilitator, and founder of Simple Art Forms, trained in art therapy and experienced in approaching art as a process and a therapeutic journey.
Come spend one Sunday differently. Slow down. Move. Create. Explore your senses. And see what happens when, for just one day, you give yourself the time and space to truly experience the present moment.
We’re looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
Experience Art. Experience Creativity. Experience Happiness.
