What Summer Reminds Us: Sometimes the Most Beautiful Things Grow in the Pause

This summer, I found myself thinking less about creating more… and more about noticing more.

The colors of this new textile artwork were born somewhere between slowing down and paying attention. Between long walks, bright flowers, warm evenings, and the quiet reminder that not everything beautiful needs to happen quickly.

I’m spending these weeks in San Francisco, giving myself permission to pause for a little while. To look, to breathe, to collect new colors instead of new tasks. I’ve learned that creativity doesn’t disappear when we slow down—it simply changes its rhythm.

Maybe that’s what summer is really for.

Wishing you a season filled with small moments that stay with you long after they pass.

If this piece speaks to you, I’d love for you to spend a little time with it.

Experience Art. Experience Creativity. Experience Happiness.
